My Little Diary

1st May, 2011: Ya Allah, I wish........ (I cannot type it here) Ya Allah, I hope........ (It's something personal) Ya Allah, I want...... (I'm too shy to share it all with you). This is just my little diary. My big, full volume diary can only be accessed by The Creator.

Can I......?

I've always think that a good argument must be moderately lengthy so that there is enough space for sufficient amount of evidences as well as adequate number of counterarguments.

But now, I guess, it doesn't always work that way.

A short argument, a simple message, an easy question can be as sound as a lengthy one. Sometimes, leaving an even more profound impact.

What am I talking about? Why am I addressing this issue? (Giggling)

I'm sorry, folks. I was just trying to justify myself. I was thinking of writing shorter posts here. Hehe.

But before I could do that, I think I should at least ask from you, my wise readers, your permission to cut off my word count. Previously, many times, I wanted to share what I was thinking with you but rethinking of it made me changed my mind. Why? Because I was feeling guilty taking your time to come here just to read a few lines.

Past Evidence That Shows My Justification Is Truly a Valid One
(So That You Guys Agree With My Decision to Write Shorter Posts)

I met many who tried to refuse fiqh (Islamic Law) in a softer manner.

"We're now living in a modern era. For example, they rode camels. We drive cars. That particular law is no longer applicable."

I quickly offered something to think of: "Prophet (s.a.w.) established fiqh by the order of Allah s.w.t. Are you saying that the time Allah sent him to the land of Arab, 1400 years ago, Allah doesn't know that, in the future, there will be machines called cars? Allah doesn't know what will happen in the future?"

I got no reply for that simple question.

Because the answer is already embedded in our hearts. Allah s.w.t. do know. The foundation of fiqh has been established on a solid ground. The future development has been carefully guided. By the Prophet s.a.w., an extremely intelligent, prominent figure.

The legacy is carried on by the succeeding scholars. With the changing of era, accompanied by the expanding territories & differing cultures, new issues emerged.

Allah know this and He know every single thing. He prepared His religion well, definitely. His law is ready to embrace every available issue you can think of. Hence, one simple question was enough to remind those who have forgotten.

See, a simple question was all what it needed.

So, now, ehem.... can I start writing shorter posts?
